I am very excited and honored to serve as the assistant principal of Friedberg Elementary School. Growing up in a family which valued education, I “answered the call” to become a teacher and assist students in attaining their personal goals. After graduating from Central Davidson High School in 1978, I attended and earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1982 and a Master of Arts in Education from East Carolina University in 1993. After teaching high school English for twenty-five years, I decided to pursue an administrative degree from Gardner Webb University and was named the assistant principal of North Davidson High School in 2007. I feel very blessed to be a member of such an outstanding faculty and staff who provide opportunities for students to SOAR in every class each day. Please feel free to call me at 764-2059 if I can be of assistance to you or your child at Friedberg Elementary.
