Angie Pierce
My name is Angie Pierce, and I'm a Speech-Language Pathologist with the Davidson County Schools. I started working with Davidson County Schools in 1998 after graduating from UNC-G with my Master's degree in speech-language communication. I currently work at Northwest Elementary on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and at Friedberg Elementary on Thursday and Friday. I love helping students enhance their speech and language skills to improve overall communication.
If and when speech-language students bring home worksheets or word lists, please review these with your child. Practice the words or skills targeted on those sheets. This practice at home will reinforce the skills we worked on during the sessions and help students realize that it's not about just correcting these skills during speech, but also at home and in other environments.
