Welcome to our classroom!
My name is Brittney Mitchell, and this is my 18th year teaching. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a concentration in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Master of Arts as a Curriculum Specialist from Appalachian State University. I am currently certified to teach Elementary (K-6), English as a Second Language (K-12), Exceptional Children (Special Education K-12) and Curriculum Specialist (K-12). In addition, I am a National Board Certified Teacher as an Early Childhood Generalist. I have previously taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades as a classroom teacher, and K-5 as an ESL teacher. I have taught in both Davidson County and Winston/Salem Forsyth County Schools.
